after pledging in faith yesterday for this year's Arise and Build,
there was a sudden implanting of a desire to tidy up the rest of my life
to honour God - in more than just giving to His house.
I will set my heart to focus and study hard
and honour God in my studies.
I will keep myself fit
and honour God with my physical health as His holy temple.
I will read and meditate on the Word
and honour God in my thoughts and speech.
I will manage my finances well
and honour God by being a blessing to others.
I'm sharing this cos it really struck a chord in me
and I really want to keep to what I said above.
need you all to help and remind me
whenever you see that I am lacking or forgetting to do what I promised.
I'm actually quite excited for this round of Arise and Build
cos I really believe that we're gonna be seeing miracles happen
like they've never happened to N389 before.
keep praying, trusting and exhorting each others peeps..
you did it for me last cell group though you may not know -
i was discouraged about the store and all ready to throw in the towel,
but lovely Peter, Darryl and Sherin encouraged me
through their honest words and helpful suggestions.
i actually went to cell group with a heavy heart and immense frustration;
but before the prayer meeting started my spirit was already lifted by you
and then it was good.
thank you guys.
