Most people would think,
that cell groups' cultures should be:
Prayer... Worship... Holiness...
I beg to differ
The culture that should exist in every cell group is hospitality.
Jesus was hospitable. to strangers. to sinners. to me and you.
Welcoming to people who may feel, look or even sound strange.
Hey i'm sure we look, feel or sound strange to others in the world.
we use funny religious jargons "fellowship", "revelation"...
and have strange activities "speaking in tongues", "bind the devil"...
So its not about them becoming more like us. Its not about them at all.
If we want to see our fathers, mothers, cousins, sisters, brothers, friends, collegues, enemies have an open heart towards Jesus.
Its us thats gotta change.
Lets stop praying for God to change them.
and start praying for God to change our attitude towards them.
Hospitality. A dinner. A warm smile. A helpful hand.
It can change a life.
